The International Fine Arts and Printing Conference (IFAPC) will be held in Dubai on 2-3 February 2023. Istanbul Medeniyet University also contributes as a stakeholder to the conference organized under the leadership of Istanbul University - Cerrahpaşa Vocational School of Technical Sciences. The conference will be led by Prof. Dr. Ayşe Derya Kahraman, and it covers traditional arts, Metaverse, graffiti, NFT, and many more fields of art. It will be possible to attend the conference through face-to-face and via online platforms.
Dubai American University, Poland-Japan Information Technologies Academy, Iowa City University, Çanakkale 18 Mart University and Bolu İzzet Baysal University also contribute to the International Fine Arts and Printing Conference as stakeholder universities. Dubai Culture and Science Association will also host the International Contemporary Poster Design exhibition on “I Dream…” within the framework of the conference. In the opening days of the conference, there will also be a Mixed Art and Design Exhibition and some solo exhibitions in the virtual environment.
Prof. Arafat Al Naim, Prof. Dr. Agnieszka Ziemiszewska, Prof. Christopher Scott and Head of Visual Communication Design Department of our University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Doğan Arslan are among the keynote speakers of the conference. Our faculty member and one of the coordinators of the conference, Assoc. Dr. Doğan Arslan states that the conference focused on art and design will be one of the important academic events of 2023.
